Cryptid Codex Cover

I don’t know if it’s gonna change yet, though I do like the image. The creature on the cover is a Cyclopean Ass in case anyone is curious.

Hopefully it’s still easy to read while reclaiming some wasted space.  I plan to print this thing as well, though not through the normal channels such as lulu.com etc.  It’s gonna be digest size something like 5.5 x 7.25 inches.

I’ve drawn up a list of Fortean Rumors for inclusion in my Age of Lemuria campaign, you know typical stuff Mothman, Men in Black, Hairy Bipeds, etc.  Just enough info to get you started, weird out your PCs and or start them down a blind alley.

They are simplified and reworded, but I think they should still lend some spice to “rollplaying”.

Time Tracker

Wilderness Encounters

Mmm…crunchy, I might be losing it. After having decided to go Old School and run a few games of Swords & Wizardry, I’ve come up with what I think will be a nifty tool to help me keep track of time during each session.

I call it Dungeon Runner , it breaks the game day down into Rounds and Turns allowing the Judge to mark off time as necessary. I always used to suck at remembering all the details and relied on a liberal use of Handwavium to get by. But that was back in the day, I’m more organized now. I haven’t actually used this thing yet, but I’m looking forward to it. Hopefully it’ll be as nifty to use as I thought it would be when I got inspired to make it in the first place.

There are probably other things out there, I just WANTED to create one myself.
